National Warranty Division offers coverage on vehicles that are less than 10 model years old and have less than 100,000 miles on the odometer. If you are no longer under manufacturer’s warranty, we advise you to invest in coverage before a mechanical failure. 2. What exactly is the "original manufacturer's warranty"? If my vehicle is still under the manufacturer's warranty, why should I purchase an extended service plan now? The "original manufacturer's warranty" is the initial warranty that is provided for a new vehicle by the manufacturer. The original manufacturer's warranty is often very limited. Customers should examine their own original warranty. It is important to remember that the price of both parts and labor has increased and will continue to rise in the future. Labor rates today in different parts of the country average $85 per hour or more. It is important to own a policy that will pay for both parts and labor. National Warranty Division does not provide coverage on any vehicle that has been significantly modified beyond the manufacturers standards. Also, we do not provide coverage on "Grey Market" vehicles that do not meet U.S. specifications.
